So they don't help pulling apart a butt?

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.

Walter SobchakNihilists! *uck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

My opinion is they’re a PITA.  I’d much rather use my fingers.

I am looking at 2014+ and the prices are all over the place.

I have a blendtec, it's legit. I got the mini wildside jar for smaller blends, I love it.
Just buy new, resale is high.

The resale for new blenders may be high, but I would let someone else take a vehicle depreciation hit new off the lot.  Your money.  FWIW-

Look at resale on 4Runners it’s seriously high. You can only get a few K off on a 3 year old vehicle out of warranty in some areas. Buy new, not much downside if you need to get out of it in a couple years youre not out much. In most cases this isn’t the deal with vehicles but this ones resale is stupid good.

And you’ll usually end up with a better rate on a new car if financing. That helps offset some of the depreciation.

When using the paws one should offset the claws so to have the opposing claw point lined up with the gap of its partner. This essentially reduces the gap by half.

    you're welcome.

  • Those are impressive numbers.
If you buy a 18 it depreciated almost 5k in a year
if you buy a used 17 it will loose around 2k a year
not factoring warranty, but how often do you use a warranty on a newish car

Yeah looking at 2014-17 used. Bunch are rental or fleet vehicles, which I am wary of.

I do all my own work on my cars once they are out of warranty, so that's a non issue for me.

4wd is mandatory, I have a lot of hilly gravel and oil and chip road to get to the highways. When it snows or ices, I am screwed. Its 5 miles to the first main road.

I’ve got a 2015 Trail, now called the TRD Off-road. I know everywhere it been since I bought it new. Some 4X get abused, a two wheel drive from a soccer mom wouldn’t worry me as much used.

I would love an FJ Cruiser.  But I can't give up the current fleet, too pragmatic.

Those FJ cruisers are very nice, but for practicality I don't need a huge SUV.

Well SWMBO decided she wants to get me something else for Christmas so back to Costco in the morning for the Blendtec. I went by earlier today to see if they had any instant rebates and the Blendtec rep was there. He shifted me towards it by comparing the 2 side by side. There were just some extra features that the Blendtec has that I like. The only thing I’m curious about that I’ve read is that the Blendtec is lighter and tends to shake a bit while blending and also the lid can sometimes leak a tad if you over fill it. Do you Blendtec guys have this problem?

Don't overfill it. My wife does that occasionally. I have pointed out the line on the jar in the past. That never ends well, so I don't do that anymore.

On the 4Runner im with the other folks that have said buy new. You won’t hardly save any money buying used and you will have less warranty. Especially if you are gonna get 4wd that is useful. Also if you can find a 4wd one with the multi terrain select and the kdss they are totally worth it. That would be on the TRD Off-road trim or higher not the SR5.

Sometimes when making hummus with the Twister Jar it will get a little crazy and I need to just keep a hand on it. You kinda need to do that anyway when using the twister blades so it's no big deal.

Occasionally some liquid will ooze thru the clear plastic plug of the lid but I've never had any leaks around the perimeter of the lid itself.

But no issues using the larger jar?

Not with anything I've made but I've never had it near full.

No sweat pal. I figured since the guy has sold
like a million of them and they have been ripped off by dozens of other companies you might realize that it’s you not them. People buy them for gifts for others after having used their own set. Different strokes for different folks I’d say. SMDH.
