Tri-tip for sure. Hubby went to the butchers and bought it, and announced he would like it cooked. I also have some Cornish Hens that I will marinate in a olive oil/lemon mixture-all good eats. Probably some taters also. Will post pics.

I forgot the garlic-about 4 cloves mashed. Also if you have it some Rosemary works very well. Enjoy!

I have a couple rib eyes in the fridge. Headed to the farmers market in the morning to see what else we can rustle up.

We are headed to ours to pick up some pasture raised belly for bacon. I’m sure we will score some other goodies too.

First pics of Memorial Day cooking-Friday night was marinated Tri-Tip with roasted asparagus. On the MM indirect, then reverse sear for the finish. It was delicious! Tri-tip is turning into my favorite steak.  Monday will be the Cornish Hens.
    That looks outstanding.

    Keep the good cooks coming.

@Foghorn and @caliking -and everyone else who may be interested-my final cook of the weekend. Cornish Hens Spatched,  marinated in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, rosemary and lemon juice/zest. Remainder marinade was reserved and brushed over the hens as they cooked-indirect, at 350 for about 35-40 minutes. It was delicious! Thanks for looking!

I get them at Humberts - They are on Winton Road, in Finneytown. They come pre-marinated and are delicious!

Mine too!  Not as much fat as a rib eye but still a great flavor.

Tri-tip arugula salads make for great leftovers.
