Don't know how these guys keep track! Or keep up!!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Come on down! This is such a fun place. BYOB, out in the hill country surrounded by awesome wineries and breweries.

What they aren’t showing you are the massive gas ovens in the back that they cook all the food on :) They have this awesome greasy smoky pit that they serve off of and everyone takes pics of but all the heavy lifting is done on gas smokers. I’ve said it a lot but it’s true: this is not the best bbq but it is the best place. Hands down. And the Q is serviceable and better than most.

I wonder how many places are left where they use wood smokers. Wilber's in NC (pork of course) still does it right, but it's my understanding that when the owner, Wilber Shirley, dies, they will have to shut down the pit and use gas or electric. City air quality standards... in Goldsboro!! Pop. 35,792! I hope they just say screw you and move the place to another town! =)

Most of the places in NC I frequent use wood smokers, and those are just the local ones.  Picnic, Allen and Sons.

Offhand, I know B's, Skylight, Wilber's, Hursey's and Honey Monk's do. Not sure about the ones in the Triangle.  Though if I need to know...  http://www.ncbbqsociety.com/bbqmap/trail_map.html

Yeah that map is out of date by at least 30 years.  Or around the time you were last in the state LOL.

We went just last weekend to bring son’s gf.  Food is decent, it was the drinking beer sitting under the oaks listening to live music that we were after.  And to most outside of Texas, the bbq is great.
    Love you bro!

You should go back to Googling for pictures of tiny dogs wearing track suits and sh!t.  That’s really your best work.

Well, you could show us how much you know. Again. AND, you could get in the last word! Again.

Yeah I really don’t care about any of that.  Good effort though.
