Which is better, pulled pork, brisket, or nice prime ribeye?

I vote ribeye, pulled pork, and then brisket.

Isn't making me choose between pork and beef a bit racist? ... lol

Good point.  Brisket is Costco Prime or RD CAB, but not snake river.

Hmmm, beef ribs or pork ribs? Beef ribs are probably after prime ribeye, but before pulled pork.

    Wonder where salmon would be?

Why are cattle raised but salmon are farmed?

Why can we buy wild salmon, but not wild beef?

It is like many words.  When used by a "yankee" it is used with pride.  When used by a "southerner" it is deragatory.  You must be a yankee to use it, otherwise you are a segregationist.

Rule of thumb: if you call it the civil war you can use the word yankee.  If you call it the war of northern aggression, you cannot use the word yankee.

Beef ribs are a rare sighting around here in the Twin Cities. The only place I've seen them is at Walmart. Hardly any meat on them. I wish I've had more experience with beef ribs. The same goes with brisket around here. A pretty rare sighting as well. Fortunately Costco carries Prime. My brisket game is getting better with every cook. Hard to compare it to anything around here though. So beef ribs and brisket get kicked back a couple spots as I'm much late to the beef game. I don't hate them or dislike them in any way but just aren't common for us northerners in the Midwest. Pork is big up here. Pork ribs were always a favorite meal my mom would make growing up. We didn't have it that often and it was always a treat when we did. Hard to beat a good rack of pork ribs. Love me some steak though. Especially after 45 days! ;)

    1) Ribeye 2) Pulled pork. Brisket's not even in the top 10.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Out of the limited choices offered, prime ribeye.
I would have added ribs, St Louis style. For the win.

Since no rib option, I'll choose baby backs that identify as ribeye.

not sure a southern "gentleman" saying yankee would feel derogatory to a yankee.  our speech gets picked on quite abit. to us a southern girls speech is sweet music, but a southern gents speech boarders on hyped tv gay =)=)=) not that theres anything wrong with that =)

Prime rib, brisket, pulled pork.  In that order.  No compromise.

If done right - brisket.  Ribeye is a close 2nd.

Where do you yankees living in the South stand on the terms scalawag and carpetbagger?

I prefer rump or sirloin to ribeye. Never had brisket. The pulled pork - steak 1 - 2 order depends on my mood.

So, are we allowed to call you all Yanks as a generic term? Always afraid I'll upset the Southerners using the Y work or the cockney rhyming version, Septics.
