I like to stay positive, so I listen to country songs in reverse.  The singer's wife comes back, his pick-up truck fixes itself, he gets out of jail free and his dog comes back to life.  I'm a sucker for happy endings.

If you're referring to the new pop/r&b country that's out now....you're right. I deleted all my preset country stations in my truck about 6-8 years ago. Give me a little fiddle and steel guitar in a country song and you can keep the new rap and bass that's in them now.

A friend asked me if I wanted to go to the fair with her.  Only two I recognized were Skynyrd and John Cougar.  Looking forward to a couple of free concerts soon.  Paying $300 for a general admission floor ticket for Metallica is laughable.  I'll wait 10 years, and watch them too, at the Mississippi Valley Fair, for free.  I'm not that stoopid.

My all time favorite country song. My dad use to play a cassette called the stars are out in texas or something like that on road trips. My brother still has it. I think it's 30 years old or more by now. But anywho this song kicks a$$ in my opinion.
