Thanks everyone. It's hard to ignore all of the Bosch recommendations so that's what we are going to order. 39db and the new third rack were the sellers for this model.

Had to follow up -- the 54 minute cycle I was talking about is the express mode. Sorry. Regular
is 2:54 and more energy efficient.

@fishlessman if I had the Debby model there wouldn't be a damn dish in that house clean... If keep her busy with other "activities"

We just purchased a Bosch a few months ago and are very pleased with it. Just make sure you fill the jet dry, use the santize setting and leave the door closed a few hrs before emptying. We usually run it at night and the next morning everything is clean and dry.

I have a Bosch 500 series that we got a few years ago (SHE55R52UC). We did a lot of research before buying. Very happy with it. We like the adjustable upper basket which can be lowered/raised as needed (great for tall wine glasses) and can even be removed and replaced with a sprinkler head on the rear water outlet when you have really tall items on the bottom, such as vases. No heating element means plastics can go on the bottom when needed. Big items in racks are a bit tough, but we just load the top up given it is so deep and everything comes out fine. No grinder, but I'm in the rinse big chunks before loading so that's never been an issue.
As others have stated, we are sure hot water is at the kitchen faucet before running the dishwasher to ensure the first fill gets hot water (our heater is set at 125). We use Finish Quantum Max pods which work great in the dispenser. Also, be sure rinse aid dispenser is full as it is essential in these new machines. We run it overnight and yes, there is water pooling whenever there is a surface that can collect water (such as glasses and the rims of plastic storage containers), but I try to load so as to minimize these surfaces. Dry by next day, though I open the door before I leave for work and empty out any pooled water. Totally dry by the time I come home.
It is silent and the small light shining on the floor is essential to know it is running, unless you don't have an overhang on your counter and can see the top of the unit where the controls are.Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table

I guess the Buffalo likes to hand wash dishes or hates German branded dishwashers. Thread is dead baby.
Washing dishes and egging go hand in hand. I don't get the Buffalo sometimes. -
