    @The Cen-Tex Smoker thank you for the rub recipe. I have not used the black ops rubs, but that was what I was going to try first for the next brisket.

    Here is my late entry, bark was a little lack but was tender and beefy.

    @YukonRon I'm diggin the foil pants you made for your briskets! Do you start from the beginning with foil or put it on?

    I imagine that helps keep the flat moist, but curious how the bark turns out?

     It works. The foil does not completely keep the thin part of the flat from drying out but it does help. I use it from the start. The bark down there is not as critical, as that area gets used for burnt ends, and chili. You still get a meteorite. :cow:
