Pocket Cleaver Giveaway - New Rules
If you know anything at all about be from the forum, you know that on a Saturday night I'm gonna be 8 or 10 beers into the evening. So I thought a bit more about it today with a clearer head.
It's clear to me that it's just not going to be right to just pick the person with the most votes since so many of you have done so much for many on here. So I'm gonna modify the rules a bit.
Everyone who has been nominated is going to go into the hat and then we will pick a winner. I will leave it open for the next week at least so that folks who don't get on as often should see it.
But here is the twist. Every vote is going into the hat. That means if 20 people mention that they've been helped by a certain egger, 20 chances go into the hat for that person. Yes it gives some advantage but I also think that is deserving since that person clearly helped out many on here. You may vote for up to 3 people. So if you voted for one before and want to add 2 more people that have helped you or the community as a whole please go ahead and do so. Votes for yourself don't count.
You can add to this string if you like or to the original, I will add them up and put them in the draw. Hope that sounds fair to everyone but if not well... make your own give away

As I said before I can't nail it down to just a few. @Foghorn sent me a sweet package in last years exchange and it has help my seasoning game tremendously and the franklins BBQ sauce is our new favorite. So I hopefully his name makes it in the hat as well. Am I making this easier?Snellville, GA

Thanks @Eggdicted_Dawgfan, I'm not sure if that gets my name in the hat or not, but the thought is appreciated. As near as I can tell, everybody who had participated in a rub and sauce exchange is deserving.XXL BGE, Karebecue, Klose BYC, Chargiller Akorn Kamado, Weber Smokey Mountain, Grand Turbo gasser, Weber Smoky Joe, and the wheelbarrow that my grandfather used to cook steaks from his cattle

@all y'all
I have learned something from everyone.
Thank you for helping me learn how to cook on both my eggs. Any help I have given to anyone, is from this forum, and you as the source.
My list would be long, and I am afraid it would be erroneous incomplete. I am truly grateful you have helped me so much."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

As all have noted there are many here who have helped many over the years.
But I still say @SGH . Scottie has posted his phone # many times for anyone to call, so at all hours of the day he can talk you through what you need. This is got to be on the top of the list.
That said @nolaegghead is right up there also. He has said and delivered many times that if you are ever in the NOLA area give him a shout. I know a few on the forum have accepted his offer to stay at his house, sleep with his famous cat, and or use use his boat. And we all know that anytime you can hangout with @nolaegghead will be an experience you can only tell your adult friends about.
Then there is @Thatgrimguy , Scott is the best. He is stand alone one of the most charitable and giving friends I know. What he does for his community is truly amazing and touches so many lives.
I think your gonna need more cleavers!!
