For those with dividers, do you use Them and does it really keep one side dry?
@Brisket_Fanatic A couple videos I saw online appeared that water could get from one side to the other with the divider. I still bought a divider to help keep things simple. Wife's girly alcohol or beer on one side and mine on the other. Plus at this point with Rtic sinking I figured I'd better get one now than not have a chance to get one later. I did the same with basket. I tried with the latches and plugs but they were sold out

  • @weberwho I almost ordered dividers for 45/65 but just didn't think they would be worth it.  Now that I have all 3 sizes not sure it's worth it either. I did 2 baskets for the 65 and 1 for the 45 but may get another no that they may not be around any longer.

@Brisket_Fanatic I've also watched videos on guys using $8 plastic cutting boards from Walmart and cutting them down to size for dividers.

I did way too much research before buying the stupid cooler. :o

Got my Rtic45 in today.  The other box, #2 in this shipment order,  with the dividers and trays will come in tomorrow.
Probably a bit nit picky but this is the first shipment and third hard cooler I've bought from them.  When I examined this one upon unboxing, noticed that a part of the drain plug was loose and not in place.  No problem, a pair of tweezers and a screwdriver and it's now back in place.  It also has a couple of spots where the finish on the cooler isn't consistent.  My first thought was blemish or seconds.  I can deal with the cosmetic stuff as long as the cooler works as well as the other two I already have.  Just my initial perception when opening this shipment as compared to the several I have gotten in the past.
I now have all three (20,45 & 65) and should have a cooler sized for any need I may have.  Two of them will be going to Chicago with us next weekend.
