what was more funny was some characters had multiple personalities and multiple handles. full gang warfare, im surprised there were no fatalities other than some stopped posting

even worse (or better, actually) was that you didn't need an account for the longest time.  you could write in any handle, any time, no wait, no verification, then post your reply immediately

not only did it allow totally anonymous posting, but you could even post under someone else's handle.  there's would be green (and link to their profile), but the fake account was just in all black (no link)

even mild mannered zippy had a pretty antagonistic account.  nothing more than stirring the pot about cooking methods, but back then, that was enough.

I'm just talking about the using other people's handle part. I heard about a guy that knew someone who had more than one handle on here but I've never seen it

i've had multiple handles, just not at the same time.  except for BigGreenDave, which was a long con for April Fool's day, and then retired.

i don't answer questions about dry aging under this handle and then berate people about their politics under another.

just the one.  i do tend to scuttle each one after a while though. so serially, sure.  just not in parallel
