As usual, you haven't offered an argument. Just whining, crying and the dreaded name calling you despise so much. Here's another photo you should be able to relate tonolaegghead said:I'm really sorry about the rough patches in your childhood. Sincerely.

Sorry I called everyone, collectively, "children".
I thought it was pretty funny.
In case you haven't figured it out, I'm just an idiotic troll with crazy ideas looking for buttons to push. Yours are really prominent, like supraorbital ridges, crying out, really, to be pressed. And I oblige! As it is what I'm apparently programmed to do from my training in the international academy of trolling (Scandinavia or somewhere).
I must be some kind of devil, plotting the destruction of impulsive Archie Bunkers to you. To me, great mirth. However you want to think of me, I like it!

I don't really care. #winning! My hope would be a horror show for you I assume. I hope he just guts several federal agencies to the bone. We need a good flushing, and I mean a good one.nolaegghead said:Sorry I called everyone, collectively, "children".

In my home town we have a secondary mfg facility which specializes in mentally challenged workers. Friday some of them were refused due to some new regulation. I'm sure all good intention was meant, but it's a clown show. This place is the bright spot in their lives. The work gives them great pride along with friendship and comradery. -
I will say this for Trump: he is clearly a great ambassador for the mentally challenged.pgprescott said:

Mentally challenged workers... clown show? Really? Disabled workers have the same right to protest their working conditions as any other American (or legal non resident) does.pgprescott said:

They want to go to work, but they cannot. The facility fears regulatory consequences from the Feds, so they turned them away. The facility claims it's a "my hands are tied" situation. I think I didn't explain myself properly. Maybe I'm not understanding the issue entirely. I'm all for the workers in question and their best interests. They represent people who might need a leg up and I'm all for that. They are productive and respected members of our small community. It has nothing to do with improper work conditions. There are dozens of others who are there working. it's @10 individuals and some red tape. Anyway, I need to look into it further. Just came to light. My point is that often times there are casualties due to unintended consequences.DoubleEgger said:

Trump criticized Clinton for her expressed desire to fully fund the Individuals with Disabilities Act as too expensive. Trump didn't talk about disabled individuals except in context of veterans.

I suppose one thing that will come out of Trump's end of political correctness is that it will be perfectly acceptable to make fun of disabled people and perhaps the term "retard" will be in the mainstream again.

I believe this is another example of oppressive regulation. When you make things so difficult or expensive to comply. Even exceptionally well intended individuals can be stifled.nolaegghead said:Trump criticized Clinton for her expressed desire to fully fund the Individuals with Disabilities Act as too expensive. Yeah, that's no bueno. No argument here.nolaegghead said:I suppose one thing that will come out of Trump's end of political correctness is that it will be perfectly acceptable to make fun of disabled people and perhaps the term "retard" will be in the mainstream again.

Right. Handicap access is expensive. We should just tell these retards to get catheterized or something and deal with it.pgprescott said:

You are talking abut two different things genius. I would invite you to come to Illinois. It is far better off for handicapped than where you live.nolaegghead said:

Im talking about administrative issues buddy. This facility is a @ 30+ year public - private partnership that relies heavily on private individuals and private companies to subsidize a business model (millions) in an effort to improve the lives of thousands of individuals over the years. I have been in the facility several times, and while I am not in any way affiliated with the group, I can and will attest to the character of those who are involved. You would not measure up personally. I assure you that.
Go go ahead and bastardize the issue if you like, but you aren't helping anyone. Hope you feel good about yourself personally. -
I have no idea what you are talking about.

But it seems more and more likely that I've been mean to at least a few handicapped people.

The state is ill equipped to administer the new federal regs. Causing people to be left behind.
