During the holiday sales, I picked up a couple items.  The Amazon Echo Dot and the Harmony Hub.  If you want to control all of your entertainment devices, it seems to be a pretty nice setup.  Now, for the Egghead part.  The Dot works with your Flameboss 200.  Soooo, next cook I'll be asking "Alexa, what's my meat temp?" and saying "Alexa, set grid temp to 275".  

If you think the Flameboss is cheating, just imagine not having to lift a finger to know what temp the meat is or to reset the grid temp.  My wife was not impressed to put it mildly.

    I wonder if the harmony hub would work with my igrill?  That would be a pretty sweet setup.  I don't think my wife would be all that impressed either, but then again I'm never impressed when she comes back from shopping with 15 bags of clothes.....

    Football victory over little brother, on their home field, after Lamar Jackson struck the Heisman Pose was classic.
    I thought it funny, he did the pose, without the ball. The Heisman Trophy Statue, depicts the football player, with the football, in the cradle. Ball security is something he failed to do, frequently this season.

    @coomdaddy What would I use the hub for?  I'm ordering the echo today.  My wife wants to automate our house and I'm just not that into tech.

    In my situation, you add the hub to turn on the tv, tune to the correct input, turn on the Dish Hopper, and turn on the Bose audio if I say Alexa, turn on tv.  Or, I can say Alexa, turn on Apple TV and Alexa, turn on Xbox.  The Hub enters the commands that will turn on each device and change the tv input so that it's ready to go.  You can set favorite channels as well ie Alexa, watch ESPN.

    All totally unnecessary, but entertaining to me.

    I'm disappointed we didn't have an Instant Contest for that.

    Although that should probably become the official mascot of Butt Blast.

    I have the full size echo but I haven't hooked it up to my Flameboss. I mostly use it for music and as an alarm clock. Want to wire up the house eventually.

    How does the Echo work with the Flameboss?  Is there configuration involved?

    I wonder if you could do the same with "Hey Siri"  (iPhone has a feature where you can turn her on all the time to listen for commands when your phone is plugged in).   Downside being...Siri doesn't understand sh*t.
