I'm so very sad that I can't make it this year....  Already sounds bigger and better than last year.
We're all sad you can't make it, because your food is amazeballs!

It's not looking good for me. My wife has informed me that I'm supposed to be taking our daughter on her first trick or treating Saturday at 6 and I have a cocktail party honoring my close friend mother who recently passed friday night.  I don't think I'm going to be able to make it this year.

Sorry to hear that Grim. I was looking forward to meeting you and getting some tips on running my SF that'll be finished in March.

Sorry you can't make it Grim. However I do believe that family comes first. On a seperate note, I'm going to drop a seafood stuffed chicken off at your house to cook at your leisure. I'm whipping a few up for BC as well.

Thursday booze cruise - RSVP if you want to ride.  I can take a second boat if we are at capacity.

    So far we have
    me
    swmbo
    eggcelcior
    hapster
    henapple
    +1
    travisstrick
    jimmyhat1776
    +4 (coworkers)
    frank
    zack

...so that's 14.  Theoretical capacity is 28.  I'm told to keep it 20 or under.  We have 20 live vests, but I have more.  And we can take the bay boat too.

Also, I am told that under no circumstances should everyone congregate on one side of the boat or it may dump said congregation into the sea.

When I first read that I panicked. I didn't have my glasses on and thought that it said "the gay boat" ;)

Coincidentally, that is also the "clothing optional" boat.

I'm going to be naked most of the time. There is nothing wrong or gay about that. Most men prefer to cook in the nude. It's a true feeling of freedom and oneness with nature. However I don't want y'all staring or ogling at me. That would be gay ;)

I'm sorry that I can't make it in time for the booze cruise, sounds like it promises to be epic. I won't complain if you schedule another for Friday evening.

May God be with us all!   I won't make it until Friday night, so a Thursday night Booze cruise is unfortunately off my schedule.

I scoured flights a couple days ago, cheapest was $740,  for a 15+ hour travel day with two layovers
Will have to pass this time; when I get to retire in a couple years I'll be taking the motorcycle all over, who cares if its a 1-week travel schedule.
Have fun folks, wish I could've been there.

We did a bunch of cleanup at the venue today.  Then I picked up some tents and tables from the crawfish competition group.   We're on schedule!

I find keeping clothing on till after lighting works much better for me.
