The winds of good fortune have blown my way

I have left some ominous posts in the last 30 days and just wanted to update the group who pays attention to such things. I have been dealing with some court proceedings and the potential of losing my job over family fighting. We had a final mediation May 31st and I was given a 30 day deadline to come up with what seemed like an absolutely impossible sum and I could buy our Hyundai franchise or I could go job hunting.

Well, sometimes you have to just go for it even if it seems impossible. I got a letter of approval last week and now will work on closing the deal. If all goes well I'll own 100% of a Hyundai franchise within 90 days. I'm in shock I got this far. Everything looks like it's dotting i's and crossing t's at this point. (well that and the whole paying for it thing)

Just wanted to say thank you for everyone who has reached out and offered advice or prayer or just positive vibes. They have all helped tremendously.

Grim, I'm so glad to hear this buddy. It's no secret that you are one of the forum members that I really think a lot of. I consider you a true friend even though we haven't known each other all that long. You have certainly been on my mind and in my prayers since all that started. I have always believed that good things happen for good people. And you are one of the best people that I know. Keep on keeping on brother.

Good for you man. It's awesome when big things work out for good people. Good job having faith in yourself and sticking your neck out.For most people that's the only way to be truly successful. I've only been in business for myself for a little over three years. It's only a one man operation nothing like a whole dealership. I'm making more money with less work than I ever thought possible and I'm more happy than I've ever been. After my teacher wife goes back to school after having summer break off, I'm gonna kick into the next gear. There's plenty of money out there you just have to go grind for it.

Awesome!  Glad things are turning around.  Amazing how things work out .... I know it can feel like pounding a square peg in a round hole at times, but when things come together it feels great@
