They improved the search speed

I have no idea when they changed something but they seem to have fixed the search function for the site. Going back a little ways you'd hit search and have to wait a very long time for anything to come back. Right now it's returning almost instantly.

The mobile site sucks in every way there is to suck. The only way to make this forum palatable from a mobile device is to view the desktop site.
