Somehow, and I may be incorrect, but I just don't see Ron, the Elder, as your typical JB single wides roller. Call me crazy, just sayin'."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

Here's a screen shot from their twitter page, looks like they're going to release a grill that can smoke.

BBQ is a celebration of culture in America. It is the closest thing we have to the wines and cheeses of Europe.
Drive a few hundred miles in any direction, and the experience changes dramatically.

For $1500 you could buy a performer, a kettle, and a WSM and still have $$$ for beer, meat, and charoal.

Or a Large AND a MiniMax BGE at an eggfest

Whatever it is, I am selling my large and the small to buy it. I'm keeping the XL, Med, and Mini tho.

I'll be interested in the reviews and how it stacks up to the big green egg, hoping it will push motivation and innovation from big green egg. my younger brother and dad after tasting my Q off the egg are looking at kamados!“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Looks like a OTG ashpan. The newer kettles are chinsy, compared to pre 2000ish kettles where they used a thicker gauge all around.
All depends on the price. If it's 1500, no f'n way. I paid exactly 200 for my WSM and used OTG. 220 if you add my JJ.
The new WSMs are going for 3, and OTG at least 150, still much cheaper than this new grill.

Devil is in the details - what exactly is it made from and what is included.
Same size as an XL and an XL with all the options a lot of people buy can add up to the Weber's anticipated pricing.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
For the money, a midget stripper better pop out.

Personally, I don't care if it's handmade from mined stone in Zimbabwe and etched in 24K. I'm out. You can even get a nice 1/4" backyard stickburner at 1800.
But I'm sure it will sell, it has the Summit badge. That alone, is a grand.BrandonQuad Cities

I think that goes without saying if they can jump out of a bbq.

Have 0 interest in it. Have a Mini Egg, a Large Egg, 2 XL EGGS, a gasser that exists solely for CI seasoning, a small Weber Kettle, a home built stick burner with another in the making shortly...

I have a webber. I use it to cold smoke mushrooms and cheese, and use to hold my BGE accessories.
