Even if you could cook 40 wings on a small without multiple batches, yeah, people would RAGE. Especially if they were good.

if you cut the wings into drums and wingettes then every one gets two i can do maybe 20 plus wings in the mini, you should be able to do 3 or more times that in a small. you just need the right sized basket

wings on the egg is an awesome idea. I have made wings on the MM with the CGS woo- I could put ten or so up top and at least 10 on bottom, did indirect with BGE platesetter and inverted the woo so the small diameter circle was up top with an 8" (I think) grate. worked out really well

...and it was a big hit. One secret ingredient is Soy Vay brand Hoisin Garlic sauce.
I cooked a 10 lb butt on my large to about 180 and then moved it to a crock pot and transported it and continued cooking. Worked out well.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -

Bring small egg to Wow 40 peeps? Thx but, no Thx. Have it catered and enjoy some cocktails with friends. Less stress, less mess and you're able to enjoy the event versus cooking. Don't get it twisted...I love cooking for family and friends and even acquaintances. But, prepping, cooking and cleaning up for an event will quickly turn into work.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I've cooked for 15 adults using the mini egg. Marinated steak on bamboo skewers. Grill over hot coals 5 sticks at a time. Small egg would cook more. They get done fast. Use 3 different marinades to change it up. Just keep going and eventually everyone eats. Good luck.

+1 on skewers. I did Maguarita Chicken Skewers and they cook fast. If you have them prepped and ready to cook hot & fast, you can pump 'em out. Any meat & veggie combo using any marinade flavor will work.Flint, Michigan

YukonRon said:We did pulled pork with smoked Gouda using Carolina mustard sauce and sweet spicy sweet pickles on Hawaiian rolls for an event. We made about 60 or them. It was a pre super bowl party, there were about 100 or so folks in attendance, Everybody brought something. Our's were gone in ten minutes after final load taken from the grill. Cook and prep them the day before, then at the function, put them on indirect to melt the cheese, pull and serve. Killer. Did mine on a MM loaded 8 at a time, really could have done 10, but I had already prepped. 3-4 mins at 300F is all you need. 1 hour tops for total cook.
