all these years of using tongs and flipping wings on a grate :)) what a waste. with the basket, dump into a big bowl, spin them around and dump back in basket, just too easy :D

I am actually planning on a small to complement my XL, but you caught my attention!  The wings look great!

How long did you cook those wings in the basket?
    What temp?
Did you give them a toss or two during the cook?
    More details please!

I would do that on my XL and have room for some pig shots, or a roast or whatever

they have been marinating since saterday. dome said 280 but it was hotter being so close to the lump, tossed them every 15 minutes for a little over an hour the last five minutes with franks and butter. gots some charring and the pile seems to keep them more moist than done flat on a grill. i sat the basket on/in the firering, wouldnt fit with the grid in place

Great idea. Have always worried about scorching wings since they are so close but the basket allows the wings to protect each other as long as you flip them. Gonna have to give this a shot nice looking wings.

Looks great!  Where does one get such a basket?

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
