As far as the SPLC.... They list the American Border Patrol and a group that tried to block free benefits to illegal aliens.
They're listed as a hate group largely due to their leader, Glenn Spencer.  The Anti-Defamation League feels the same way, for what it's worth.  It probably has something to do with articles he's written, like the one titled "Is Jew-Controlled Hollywood Brainwashing Americans?”

    Real peach, that guy.
By that definition, the Obama administration is a hate group by aiding a state that sponsors terrorism.  Remember the Iran deal?
Obama clearly hates the Jews, Fred, so maybe you're on to something.

So who is the owner of OPEC? It was my understanding, that it represents countries that export oil, and has members from Indonesia to Ecuador.
Am I missing something? 14 countries currently are members.....
5 are charter members, 1 of the 5 is Western Hemisphere in location.
I thought that was the joke, right?

@ DoubleEgger   But, is it owned, by Chik fil A? just kidding. Sharia law upheld against their people, right? Not US citizens. Big difference. Besides most of our oil comes from south of the border, and other places not specific to the Persian Gulf. So I think I can drive my truck and feel ok...

Me, Wilma & our youngest are road tripping to PA tomorrow.  I know we'll be stopping at Chic-Fil-A if I want any...well, we're stopping there.  Chick-Fil-A is nowhere near our home here in Michigan.

So it got me thinking about regional food & restaurants away from your usual stomping grounds.  When you're far from home, do you make a point of stopping at a restaurant or buying food you don't have near you?
Well, it's about an hour from my home, so if I find myself driving home from far enough south of where I live, I will usually stop at a well known Meat & Sausage shop to pick up some excellent sausages from a butcher shop.

I hear Nola loves Chick Fil A...
They're not terrible.  I just don't dig chicken sandwiches.  And they supported hate groups, so I just don't give them my money, just like I don't give any groups that support terrorism or hate money.
If chick-fil-a offered a dark meat patty instead of that yucky breast meat crap, I would go there.  Sadly, they choose to use the worst part of the chicken for their sandwiches so I stay away.

Sharia law.  That's what I'm talking about.  Get it?  Probably not.

To the best of my knowledge, Islamic Sharia is not implemented in any country of the world, most Muslim countries have their own laws & chosen only few of laws from Islamic Sharia as part of their legal system. Radical Islamic fundamentalist extremists want Sharia Law 100%, the countries do not. Part of the reason for why we are there.
That, and the "owner" of OPEC using Sharia Law against the LGBT population. Praise Allah, nobody spoke up about women's rights, which are far more inhumane in the Quran than what is written about Homosexuality.

We are in Maui right now and did the Road to Hana Sunday. Stopped at a bbq hut along the side of the road. Was amazing. Pulled pork and chopped chicken. The pork was wrapped with banana leaves while cooking. Gonna try when I get home to find some.

Did you go on around or come back the same road?  We went on around and it was a waste of gas, and the car rentals say not too. Looked like west Texas
