Sounds like a plan, I'm going to liquidate all my investments this afternoon. I have a line of credit against my home I can leverage as well.

    Feeling good about this already.
Since there are "only" about 180 million combinations you just need to borrow that amount of $$$ to buy every combination.

At over a billion dollar payout that is quite the return on investment.

Of course if I were to do that it would turn out that 20 other winning tickets would also have been sold and Vinnie and Knuckles would be after me since I couldn't pay them back.
    292 million possible combinations
    292 million X $2 per combo = $584 million for every combo

1500 million - 584 million = 916 million in the plus, time to go take out a loan!!!!

if more than one ticket wins we are screwed!!!

If I win, everyone on the forum gets a Make America Great Again T-shirt.

We'll have the biggest SRF cook party in my new backyard (currently the grounds of the Hyatt)  My girlfriend, Kate Upton will invite all her friends.  All who attend will get a free pallet of Rockwood.  (Ozzie - one bag??  don't be such a cheapskate!)

If I win I promised my teammates I would vote for Hillary Clinton.

I will also setup a thread and buy the first 50 people who respond a bag of Rockwood.  The first 10 will get a FB200.

And @Lit will get an RTIC of his choice.

Neg....cash option for a solo winner (in one of the 10 states that doesn't have state lotto tax) is $697,500,000 after federal withholdings. Then for the 2015 tax year, you'll own an additional $135,000,000.  You're screwed before you even get started....

First, I would cease to exist on the internet.
I would tell no one of my good luck.
I would keep on working until I actually had the money in my bank account.
I would dress like a poor homeless person for my trip to the Lotto office to turn in my winning ticket.

I wanted to better my odds, so I took cash advances on all my credit cards, cashed out my retirement funds, and sold a kidney.

I can't wait, I'm gonna be so happy when I win!!!

@DMW, sounds like there are "bad parts" of the Internet. Bequeath it to me and there wouldn't be.  There would be freedom of speech.  BTW, my wife knows and worked with Bill.

Shucks...none of my numbers matched. I'm not sure what to do now.

    Crap, I've lost everything.

    It's just sinking in now.

    That probably wasn't very smart.

    I'm....devastated.

    Yeash.

Lottery officials are pleased to announce this evening that a winner has been announced in Wednesday night’s drawing. That lucky person is 27-year-old hedge fund manager Jared Price from Chino Hills, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. According to lottery officials, Jared is possibly the sole winner of the $1.5 billion jackpot, the largest in history. Mr. Price won by correctly matching all five numbers and the Powerball.

Price told the lottery that he had no specific plans for the money, which he will chose to receive in installments over the next 30 years. “I just want to be a normal man,” he said. “Maybe I will buy up the next Wu Tang album, or buy another yacht. I already have more than anyone would ever need, so this is just icing on the cake,” he continued. According to the local ABC News affiliate, Price, who according to Forbes is one of the richest “Under 30" making millions of dollars as the head of Spiegel International,

Seems a lil early in the game to me. Sounds like the story was made to piss people off.

There are 3 confirmed winners.  California, Tennessee and Florida.
