Roasted Tomato Soup with Bacon and Parmesan
It's been to damned rainy to bust out the egg(s) and I wanted to make this soup. Roasted tomato soup recipe I posted on brother Henapple's thread yesterday modified with homemade bacon and a parmesan cheese crisp. This one's a winner.
Simmered then blended.
Finished with Parmesan and bacon.

The soup looks great. How did you make the Parmesan chip?Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

@SciAggie, I finely grated Parm Reggiano onto parchment paper on a baking sheet and baked it about 6-7 minutes at 350. Even better in salads my friend.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

Big fan of tomato soup here. Can you post the recipe?____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli

Brother @paqman, here's the recipe. Don't skip the fresh basil or the dairy (I use half and half). The homemade bacon and Parmesan crisp were my adaptation. It's great, especially when tomatoes are prime! I hope you like it.
