A perfect antidote to a terrible day in US History: a Mannheim Steamroller documentary on PBS right now. I knew that Chip Davis, the founder, was also "C.W. McCall" of mid-Seventies CB Radio/Convoy fame; what I Didn't know was that MS got their start as the opening act for CW McCall (same guys!)! They played their instrumental ambience to open, went backstage and changed into denim, then did their "headline" show!
They're (Mannheim) doing their Xmas show the two days before Xmas here in Salt Lake, and a donation to PBS would get me tix; I normally donate to PBS, wish I was dating someone....___________"When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set."
