You should find yourself some Wicked Lester.
Not sure if you know this or not, but before they were Wicked Lester they were Rainbow for a short time. Once they discovered that there was already a band with that name, they changed to Wicked Lester. The name Wicked Lester was only used (that I know of) for two live performances. After this, the name again changed to KISS. Paul Stanley was almost not in the band. He was rejected by Gene Simmons when he first auditioned for Rainbow. One has to wonder how successful KISS would have been without Stanley's trademark voice. Gene almost F'd up.

I did not know about Rainbow.  Thanks for the heads up.

@buzd504 You gonna make it on Sat?  We also have the boat thing on Thursday evening.  Probably leave around 5 or 6PM from Orleans Marina on a big 38' to hit the bar at Pontchartrain Landing, drink and watch the games.  We'll have a small boat for pickups and drop-offs.  Thatgrimguy will be at the landing with his RV and DMW, JohnInCarolina and Eggcelsior will be there.

If I make it, it will likely only be Saturday evening.  Unfortunately this weekend is really bad for me work-wise.  I'm going to try though.  Thursday I have a reception I'm supposed to go to and I'm getting out of that because I have tickets to the game.

@Eggcelsior  ehh I guess to each their own. I've heard different remakes and renditions of our generation's classic rock and even Rap, hip-hop, R&B, etc & some is okay and others suck.  Just an opinion. Cake's version is spot on but, I like old Sabbath. Then again....there are originals that get outshined by a remake. Just one example....obviously there are many remakes to many artists songs (no dis to Dylan because he rocked and can't help but, to like his beyond unique voice) :peace:
