Just connected my new Bose 700 Bass to my existing Bose 700 Soundbar. Kicking it off with a little Mark Knofler live from Paris 2015. See you guys in a bit.

Nuthin' wrong with that; they have "that sound" but I can't hear that they're trying to imitate, so much.

Got a reminder of this band, whose first album I bought (ALL the songs were razor-sharp), it's a blast from the (more-recent) past:
50 extra Botch-Points™ for getting the word "septuagenarians" into a pop song, AND getting a hit with it!
RAHHH!

Bourbon & Beyond looks awesome, but I think we may be on vacation already (Dublin or Barcelona).
Would love to hit the KY Bourbon tail at some point though.
Lots of great bands playing this one, great mix of music. Guessing @YukonRon has much more insight. Love this forum, can’t wait to meet you guys at future events!

This will be a tremendous show, and its location is being moved to the fairgrounds, which for huge crowds, makes total sense.
We have gone the last two years, this will be our third.
My Beautiful Wife and I would be glad to host should anyone wish to attend.
IF YOU ARE INTO SOUTHERN BLUES READ THIS:
IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS
We saw JJ Gray and Mofro last night at a small and intimate setting located in Glasgow Kentucky (Mammoth Cave Area).
Should the opportunity come along and this group comes to your area, you have to see their show. My gracious, this Southern Blues Band was incredible all night long, played for 3 hours, gritty in your face soulful blues. They had the entire place standing from start to finish, many went down front, right up to the stage, which was surprising that the band wanted them there. People were dancing, the band got into the crowd, and ended doing a couple of encores.
We will be following this tour around the country this year, trying to catch them a few more times.
This is a band you have to see live. Their recordings are great and have a live album, but this performance, was about the best show I have seen since U2's end of The Joshua Tree tour in Cleveland (which was one of the best shows I had ever seen.)
Seriously, this was a top 5 show for us, and we have seen so many (100s).
The opening act was called The Mighty Pines. All great musicians and a bit of a throwback. They will be in Louisville May 16. We will catch them there. These guys were a perfect warm up band.

Just wanted to add one more thing:
The small town of Glasgow has a small theater, from who knows when, that has been refurbished and updated for state of the art sound, and, run by volunteers only.
Security was light, almost non existent. It was an excellent experience. The small town has a few local restaurants, and this event overwhelmed the place.
We did a bed and breakfast 2 blox from the theater, and this place was hosting a candidate running for Govenor, to kick off his campaign.
Very cool setting.

@saluki2007 no kidding! I've really started listening to Marcus King a lot lately and I really enjoyed seeing Gary Clark when he opened up for Foo Fighters. Great find.

About 15 minutes long, but if you have the time, watch Leon Russel's introduction into the R&R Hall of Fame back in 2011. Worth the watch.
