I have been at the beach in Nags Head, NC all week. I couldn't find a shark but I did find some other seafood jump from my plate and into my belly. Yum!

Maybe she should've mentioned staying out of the Alligators House also. I definitely don't think yelling F,,,the alligators helped any.

This is another instance where punctuation could have saved a life,

The sign read "No Swimming Alligators", as in there are no swimming alligators here,
instead of "No Swimming: Alligators", as is do not swim, there are alligators in the water.

Im sure this fine young gentleman understood the nuance and this is why he felt safe going for an evening dip.

Another example would be when his statement of "f**k the alligators" before he entered the water turned in to "f**k! The alligators!" As he was being attacked. Same words, very different meanings.

I don't disagree with that at all, but have we confirmed that he could read? Surprisingly, I didn't see any mention of alcohol - I think I may have ended the video early, but I kind of expected right up front to read or hear about a drunken stupor being part of this. Maybe he was just mad at the alligators.

I just read another article stating that the gentleman had been at the bar in the marina before going into the water. I'm sure that had nothing to do with it.

Down here in St. Croix we swim and snorkle almost every day. Absolutely love it. When we sea critters we just marvel at them and hope for more. I used to dive in the south Pacific extensively - sharks were highly sought after and make for good dives (blue corner Palau...).

In the Carolina's it's now called Great White Privilege.
