@blukat the Cajun injector is great.  I inject all of my butts with it and everyone loves my pulled pork

  • @Ladeback69 thanks for the haul.  I just watched the episode of bbq pitmasters with squeal like a pig on it so i am interested in trying it.  Thanks for your recommendations as well as your brine suggestions.  In the past I never took the time to brine chicken but just started again a few weeks ago.  I will use the r butts for it like you suggest.

I am also thankful for all the bubblewrap.  I am using it on my shipment going out tomorrow.

I just rolled up to the house a few moments ago. I was trying to get off early to go to dinner with my wife and our Son (that didn't pan out) as today is my wife's birthday @HuskerMaMa
She's feeling ill to top it off. My elf @Hunter1881 totally brought the noise.  He was very detailed and explained each rub and sauce none of which I've ever tried. He obviously put some serious effort into this whole thing and I greatly appreciate it! @HuskerMaMa also Says Thank You So Very Much! Simply Awesome :plus_one:
    Thank You Matt.

@Parkersquared, glad you like them.  I let the professionals at UPS pack it and I am glad they got there in one piece.  I look forward to seeing the food you use on it. You very welcome.  This has been a lot of fun to do.

I received my awesome package from @Tspud1 today. It was a tightly packed plethora of rubs and sauces, many I had never heard of and a few I have wanted to try. Looking forward to trying them all, the Red Cactus and Lickins sauces from your friend’s business look awesome. I have wanted to try blues hog and Oakridge for a while, so thank you for those. I have not heard of a lot of these and there a few that are very unique, tell me more about the Jack Miller’s sauce. The red bridges sauce is a taste of home in NC, excellent score. And that John henry Pecan rub looks killer. Thanks so much for the awesome package @Tspud1!

I was introduced to the Jack Millers Cajun BBQ in last exchange. You can order some on line if you like it. Price is right, half case(6 bottles) $16.

@chubbs - Glad you liked the package and it put a smile on your face after a rough day.  Sorry about the Yuengling sauce, I agree glass would not go well with bread and sauce.  Next couple of weeks I've got some work travel and then vacation, but I'll try to get another bottle out to you.

That is very kind sir but not necessary. You went above and beyond and I don't expect you to replace the bottle. Thanks again an I look forward to trying these out.

Huge Huge thanks to @KiterTodd for putting together a very thoughtful package.  2 pages accompanied the box with a line item description of how he uses each item and why he likes it.  There is stuff in here from New Mexico to Colorado to his favorite vacation place!!

It didn't stop there!  There was a grill brush that has been mentioned here on the forum recently so he threw that in for good measure along with some wood chips and pamphlets on the adobe milling sauces with recipes.  Just a super awesome box.  Thanks so much Todd!!!

I couldn't wait to try something so I used your favorite vacation sauce on some pork chops.  It was so funny because my youngest daughter doesn't like anything spicy.  She said it was too spicy for her.  And proceeded to eat everything on her plate!  Yes!  My wife said the same thing and couldn't stop dipping in it for extra sauce on each bite.  So awesome!!

Ahhh, all that looks so nice next to the blue egg!

Glad everything made it safe and that the first cook was a good one.   I'm finding my kids are the same way.  You just have to teach them that "spicy" isn't a bad word!  They'll say they don't like it and then eat it anyway...

FYI, I did a cook with that green chili powder this week.  Posted it here;)  That stuff is NOT spicy despite the word "hot" on the label.  ?

Enjoy and glad it was appreciated.  Still feels inferior compared to some of these posts, but I appreciate the kind words.

@Angus1978  Dude Awesome package.  I just received it a few minutes ago and it felt like Christmas as a kid.  All of the rubs look great, they are all new to me.  I can't wait to start sampling them, I very interested in the Pecan Rub what do you suggest using that on?  I really appreciate your generosity!  Thanks again for being part of the exchange.

A shout out to @cazzy for another great exchange!

    oh good!!  @Budgeezer
Glad they all made it in one piece.  I got worried after seeing the video of @Black_Badger   spices leaking out everywhere!

I like Deez Nuts on ribs and Chicken.  Again sorry for the lack of a note...I lost my mind there for a bit.

The John Henry's is a "special flavor", I recommend it on things like your salad or eggs etc....  and use it when "Eggsperimenting" on sides is my thought

Angelo's Pork and Chicken is another good rub, and of course, you can't get a package from Texas without Nolan Ryan's Steak Rub.  Also because I love Bourbon, I had to send you some bourbon-flavored rub as well.

Sucklebuster's is an up and coming brand, I asked around and they seem to be hyper-local currently (at least that's what the store owners told me)  I haven't tried any of them, but I doubled up and bought some for me too   =)

Hopefully most of them are new to your cabinet, national brand or not, that was my main goal!

    Happy Egging!!!
