Brazilian jiu-jitsu?  I think you are asking the wrong group.  We are mostly fat middle aged men who cook BBQ and drink beer .  I do have a green belt in Tae Kwon Do I got in '89.

ha well i hoped there were a few active guys on here. i am late 20s and have been on here couple years now. not everyone is old, just most everyone

my favorite tidbit of TKD comes from bas rutten

Bas: in Jujitsu you can't just buy a black belt like in say TKD

Krav Maga for me......not competition yet, but still getting my clock cleaned on a weekly basis.  Best part though, the charcoal company pays for the training  since I have to deliver in some shady areas.

All the best for the little guy in his big event; sure he will do well. Give him our best - or whatever it is you tell a fighter before a match - like a Wookie salute and tell him go rip his opponents arm out of its socket.

If any of y'all have boys or girls under 12 or so I highly recommend it. Had a blast, tons of kids of both sexes, fun event
