Web site $$ and your BGE'(s)-sharing the wealth?

A recent thread prompted me to assess my web site $$ related to the BGE habit.  Hands down, SRF wins and on a routine basis.  Wondering where others divest their $$ relative to the BGE eggsperience.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Nowhere. I just buy regular grocery store food and RO lump locally. That's about it. Even my smoke wood comes mostly from my yard. I don't have many accessories and rarely use the ones I do have so I stopped even thinking about toys.

As for SRF, that'll be the day.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

So is mine, I said it tongue-in-cheek. She encouraged me to go to Salado. Occasionally she rolls her eyes about something but all in all she enjoys my hobby.

Have I mentioned I have an awesome wife?

+ 1 for what @DMW said. Disclose nothing. Admit nothing. Fear nothing.

After 10yrs of being married she has now stopped rolling her eyes at my plans. I think I'm close to being able to have a second LBGE just magically appear.

Hey, we could be cashing our checks in for singles and *ahem* appreciating other entertainment.

Using our hobby budget to better our cooking for friends and family? And spend some on booze along the way? I don't feel so bad anymore.

I'm right there with you, I used to get grief about this and an Internet sports game I play.  But then we had a get together with her two best friends from grad school and their husbands spent the entire time talking abou golf weekends, casinos, etc. and suddenly egging and messing on the laptop wasn't so bad after all.

When I met my wife, she didn't watch any sports much less my beloved Steelers. She's Italian so I masterminded a plan to start cooking awesome egg food on Sundays to lure her into watching football with me. Took about two seasons but she's a hard core Steelers fan now thanks to the BGE.

^^^ amen. A hobby that promotes more time with family and friends. Who could say no to that?

However I do spend too much money at Amazon, Ace Hardware (egg dealer), and the local butcher, and I'm always ordering more rubs cause I read about a new one on this forum. Finally, thanks to yall I've also discovered Snake River Farms. I'm gonna need a second job.

By the time the dumbocrats and Odumba get through with my check, I'm forced to shop at the Dollar Store and Piggly Wiggly. If the dumbocrats have their way, we will all be shopping at the Home Of Grace real soon.

@SGH hear you loud and clear, here in the Republik of Canucistan, not much better - regardless of your politics.
As far as spending money outside of egging, not an issue, I don’t have any to spend after SWMBO clothes, feeds and travels with the grandkids....

What I do have goes to Amazon (.com and .ca - two to choose from)

For me as of late, it's been The Ceramic Grill Store. I bought Woos for 4 eggs and new drip pans. Plus a sliding D grid for my AR. I also bought a PSWoo2 CI for a close friend as a gift.
    L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....

  • Just had a birthday and I was able to order from CGS. Woo2, lump reducing ring, adjustable rig, etc. Now my biggest expense is going to be meat.
