Louisville celebrated St Patricks Day with the annual StP parade yesterday. I know, I know, St Patrick's day is next Saturday, right?
Well, the city has stated, the StP day parade will always be held the Saturday prior to StP Day.
All the clans were represented well yesterday.
The calander, this year, allows the city to run an 8 day primer, prior to the April parties leading up to the Derby.
I am too old for this stuff.

@nolaegghead I read about you “being out at the track” before the pictures loaded...
I was trying to visualize you out watch endurance runners and wondering, “What the he...?”
Then the pictures loaded and it made sense, lol

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Creme brûlée pots are out of the ice bath, headed into the fridge now to sit until dinner.

To be clear, I mostly made these to play with the torch.

Interested in your impression of this recipie.  I used a similar receipie and I found the amount of yolks used made it to rich for my palate.

I'll let you know for sure.  What I like about the recipe is that it's actually easier to put together than the chocolate pots.  Not that the chocolate pots are all that difficult, but when you're making a large batch the faster and easier something is the better.

I do know several folks who've tried this recipe and swear by it, so we'll see.
