I just installed a NEST.  hoping it helps!
I installed a Nest 6 months ago.  It helped me more than enough to pay for itself, and I didn't give up any comfort.

I mostly installed it so I can adjust the temp while sitting on the sofa.  My favorite feature is they way it runs the fan after AC shuts off the normalize the temp throughout the house.

Is that feature effective?  Without remote sensors, how does it know?
It is very effective in my house.  I think it is based on cool/heat rates and then a guesstimate.

Both my BGE's are in nests.  Am I missing something here as I don't see where they provide anything more than support.  ;)

Bigger number is better .... I work so I can be comfortable in my house.  I am always high too.  Never met anyone who is low.
Yeah mine looks the same. Who are the low end guys? They must not have A/C and heat with wood. Read by candlelight.

^^^^^^This was not today, but it was delicious.

I had put an ad on CL for free roosters.  We hatch a bunch of eggs, see which ones start cockadoodledooing and offer them for free.  A hispanic family responded to one of those ads and now I just call them when I have a few roosters to get rid of.  They wanted to pay me. I said absolutely not.  I told them they are taking care of a problem for me.  I have too many roosters. They eat my food and lay no eggs.  They fight and overwork the ladies.  So instead of payment, they made us tamales.  I heated them up with steam.  Delicious rooster tamales!

Yah, yah! You see in Little Jerry Seinfeld the unlimited future you once had. Now, just because Jerry Seinfeld is a has-been, don't make Little Jerry Seinfeld a never-was!

Watching Javelina eating my pumpkins I set out for them.  Listening to them knocking trash cans down in the neighborhood.

It detects the humidity level in your house and then runs what they called airwave feature.  I love mine.

Was able to get over to the sandblaster to get the cab of my truck. Turned out pretty well. Obvious places to be cut and replaced, but overall not many hidden nightmares.

How's the chassis? Did you get that blasted as well?

been a a while since I had a prime steak I had forgotten how each bite fills the mouth with delicious steak juice :-)

the movie last Jedi is very enjoyable! Was a great night!

The chassis will be next. Guy doing the resto doesn't have a lot of space in his garage, so he's taking it in stages (cab, frame, bed).

That would have to correlate to NFL viewership to even have a chance at being true - seems like too specific of a cause to me, maybe they just wanted to make an anti-protest statement?  And if that's good for the consumer, then bring on more protests?

I don't watch much NFL, but my observation this year is the quality is generally down - maybe more parity, but not because everyone elevated their game.  Lots of key injuries around the league as well.  Anyone else watch more that sees a quality drop this year as well?

I'm all for a price drop, but can't imagine paying the energy to hoard a bunch makes sense.  I can see about doing my part by eating them more often.  Maybe New Years resolution?

Wasn't it just this last Super Bowl that we were hearing about the price of wings going sky high because the demand was so great and the supply was lacking?

Could just be a classic market response cycle - demand was so great a few months ago that they planted too many chicken wings for the Fall harvest.

Markets can be tough to predict. Kinda like live Xmas trees this year. Apparently sale of live trees were on the decline a few years ago so fewer trees were planted and this year demand is up while supplies were down making trees more expensive in many markets and a lot of "cut your own" tree farms had very low stock of trees old enough to cut this year

I really dont know, and actually have no plan on packing them away, but I will keep my eye out for a sale, and should hey be worthy, certainly will try to keep a few on hand, much like I do for either brisket or ribs.
