No Veyrons and only one Lambo.  Lots of Bentleys and Teslas.

I was stuck behind a Lamborghini yesterday at a stop light. Than the light turned green and he was gone. I was still stuck driving a Ford Ranger. If that wasn't bad enough I was on the way to pick up a gas grill for my mom. Where did I go wrong in life?! =)

Therein lies the irony. I'm also a jerk off who drives a 911S. I never drive it slow, well, unless I have to =)

Funny story with my friend. He brought his VW CC into the dealer for a repair. Somehow the dealership ended up tweaking something during the repair and couldn't get the replacement part in for a few days. The Mazda dealership where he bought his VW from had a sister dealership that was Maserati. They both shared the same repair garage. The Mazda dealership took full blame for the mishap on my friends motor and tossed him a set of keys to a Bentley for a rental that the Maserati dealership had on hand. Let's just say my friend said that they could keep his VW in the shop as long as they wanted!

He said the car was unreal. He was almost too scared to drive it around. He had to go up to his parents condo and park it in the heated garage at night. He didn't trust it being left outside his apartment complex.

I can completely understand why Doug Demuro hated owning a Ferrari. It wasn't the car itself. It was everything the car brought with it.

Did Doug Demuro get the lifetime warranty on the Ferrari from Carmax, like he did with his Range Rover?

Pulled the pastrami.  In the fridge.  I'll slice cold tomorrow and we'll see how it turned out.  I'm looking for a sammich friendly pastrami.   I think I spent $17 for 6 pounds of eye of round.  Just an experiment.

    The tasso is delicious.

Just got back home from a successful 10 day hunt in the way north lands of quebec

new Hoyt recurve has good mojo.. experience flying in a legit antique (although serviced) radial engine float plane
and best of all no noise for 10 days

Awesome.   I'd normally be a bit nervous about the the antique plane, but the FAA regulates maintenance very strictly.  Oh wait, it's Canada.  Probably best practices in most first world aviation communities, yada yada.

    Recurve - you da man!

Packing my truck, heading to the shadows of the Appalachian mountains early tomorrow. Should be awesome, great weather for the trip. Taking my laptop, and a generator, due to some killer deadlines. Hope to post some cooks from the Red River Gorge.

I believe he bought the Ferrari from a private party.

The Ferrari wasn't a CarMax purchase, but the whole story of that car from purchase to sale is a great read.

Cooking tea. Peppers, aubergine, steak (mine's not on till the end) and sausage. Some toms from the greenhouse on shortly.
