Geechie Boy Cheese Grits with Sausage

That looks great.  Did it take what...about five minutes to cook those grits?

Put a little extra sugar in the hummingbird feeder this morning and now I've got Larry Flint's Hustler Club happening on the deck. Here's a screen shot of the video I took.

Can you post the whole video, slow it down, and add some Barry White music to it?

@Gman2 nice.  September is great for spot (and for watching the dolphins who follow them up the rivers. )  Do you rockfish? I'm hoping that some of the 50+ 19 inch rockfish we had to throw back last year will be at least 20" keepers this year.  We should have a beverage together and compare notes.

Trying to be like my hero @YukonRon

spent the afternoon bagging a summit

@1683' Johns Mountain is the 666th highest summit in Georgia.  :o

    seriously a beautiful day here.
If that was in Colorado, it would be close to 7000 ft ASL.

My beautiful wife and I just had an awesome dinner in Mathews, VA.  she had soft shell crab.  I had blackened local catfish and fried frog legs.  due to the excellent sides, I had to bring half the froggies and catfish home for breakfast. Frog legs were the thickest most bad ass I've ever had.  Yum.

I'm guessing that hummingbirds do it faster.  Hopefully, we'll find out soon.

Marinated pork tenderloin in Maurice's Hickory sauce with a new sweet rib rub last evening. Cooked direct for this evening's meal.
Served with white and yellow corn mixture.

The sauce marinade cut some of the sweet taste of the rib rub just enough. Was very tasty. Thanks for looking.

  • I'm sittin outside the garage again tonight. Kinda mostly drunk. Just burnt Amy's ass with a stray ember whilst stoking the fire.  Bagging summits is hard work. No wonder @bgebrent didn't invite me to his soirée

@NPHuskerFL-Great cook and result right there.  In the cold fog of a LEO evening I recall you promised some serious dough/bread cooks as a push-back against National Brisket Day (but that was a good 3+ months ago).  Regardless, you definitely have the technique and demonstrated skill set to deliver the goods.  Most eggcellent.

Congrats on the Peak. Hoping the derriere of your beautiful wife is not too seriously scorched by the wayward ember.
