Is your fitbit calibrated?? ;)  That's a solid amount of hiking especially at altitude. Stay safe out there.

Hiked 15 miles yesterday gained 3200 feet of elevation, topping out at 11,000 ft plus. Bagged Mineral Peak. Did not see a ton of wildlife in the mountains, but returning through Estes Park, a Black bear busted a move in front of our car. They are fast moving animals, and fences are no issues to them.
Today prepping for 12,000 - 14,000 feet for tomorrow's climb.
That's quite a day! You must have been on the trail all day for that.  Watch out for the blisters on the way down!

Above the treeline, about 11,300ft. Some Elk were waiting by a trail in an alpine meadow. The wooden post in the captured image not only is a trial marker, but is also used to measure depth of snow. Still amazed at the amount of snow still in the mountains this late in the year, as compared to other times we have been here during the same time.

In an Uber on the way to AT&T Park. Going to see the Phillies play the Giants, two of the worst teams this season, should be fun.

Nola, you need help...this is getting seriously disturbing.  I think you're obsessed with me, down to the badges I put on my truck.
    It was not a gift.
    Out of curiosity..........
How much time did it take you to find those pics, find my sister?  First pic was 2006, took some digging, searching my ex's profile.  Was weirdly ironic, I was with my sis last night as you were searching her profile...she offered to take the boys to the rodeo.

Will your creepiness wear off at some point?  I know this is a family forum with salt of the earth top notch peeps, but damn.....this is an extremely awkward internet first for me, for what was dubbed by a college professor as "entertaining".

I thought there were no hard feelings? Lol

Enjoying a couple of days w/o the true millennial in the house. (he's road-tripping to the total eclipse area of the state).  Besides that enjoying several adult supervisory beverages on a non-BGE rig.  Could be an early LEO ride.
Edit: the now basement millennial resident will be gone in around 3 weeks (arrived after quitting his job last week) back to Barcelona for some higher(?) education boondoggle.  Who knows where this will end...

Easy there Gaylord.  My remark was made in the context of what presented at the time as yet another random Saturday night thread.  I have zero interest in viewing any more of the Focker family tree, and after what was shown I doubt anyone else does either.

As for this salt of the earth nonsense you keep bringing up, I seem to recall a crack you made this morning about wanting to do your own sister before another forum member's wife.  Top notch all the way.

I'm not trying to be the thread police here but in the interests of keeping this thread under the buffalo radar perhaps any dust-ups should be taken off-line or start another WDIB thread.

@DMW - worth a stop at Napa Valley Wine Exchange if you have time. Ask to taste some of the wines that never ship out if the state. With our PA laws lossened you can ship some really good and unique wines home!

@YukonRon - serious hikes by a man with bad wheels!  I'm in awe as I head in for ankle/foot rebuild this fall and seem to barely be able
to walk the (10 and 12 years old and slow) dogs!
