Back from moving our daughter into her first post college apartment in Chicago. She starts her job on Monday..  Took this shot out of her window, think she's in a good neighborhood (check out the balcony in the middle)....

SWMBO in tears, but got home and found our son and his girlfriend visiting (visiting the dogs but we happen to live with them) so she's in better spirits. Just put these on for dinner

If you have managed a wife and a girlfriend, I have no doubt you can manage a son in college.

I was the youngest. You should have seen the smile on my Dad's face when I graduated. Kept telling everybody that it was the biggest pay raise he'd ever gotten!

Oh no, NC all the way, Campbell divintity school.  For the life of me can't understand the divintiy part.  JK  she was raised a Southern Baptist.  But as she says , when you work for Jesus you will always be broke.  She said nothing about the parents being broke paying for it. :|
We took her to every UNC Bball game we had tix to but nooooo a priviate school it was .

Just watched Dallas get their a$$ handed to them in the preseason game. Is it just me, or does anyone else get pi$$ed off by female commentators? If you've never played the game, sit on the sidelines and just watch. Rant over.

I was once in this camp, but I've come to respect Pam Ware, Doris Burke and Jessica Mendoza.

I don't dislike female commenters, I think Doris Burke does a really good job doing nba games. However, whenever Beth meowens or what ever the fu_ck her name is, does a game a mute it. I can not stand her.

Nicely done. Chicago is my favorite city for 5 months out of the year. My brother lives in the city and my parents have a place in gold coast.

All the commentators I can remember I can't stand are male.  Probably statistically irrelevant, though.  If I could strangle them though the tee-vee, I'd probably be in jail.
