Just landed in Denver; waiting on the Tarmac for our gate. Looking forward to a week of backpacking in New Mexico. Yum, freeze dried camp food! It's funny what you start to crave after being on the trail for a few days. I'm sure I'll be thinking about something off the BGE.
Heading out there on Friday with My Beautiful Wife, going to do some short hiking around Estes Park, catch a show at Red Rocks, and head back home.
    Have fun
I want some of that action....welcome back Ron.....have missed your post in a big way.
Hey Robin! It is getting better. Suzy was/is a huge fan of an 80's group thst is going to be at Red Rocks, (Tears for Fears) so I thought it would be good for her to do a long get away weekend. I got a place, close to Estes Park, with a view of Long's Peak, a summit we had shared previously, (unfortunately, no BGE :s)
We have missed everyone, tremendously, and thank you, so much, for the support. The children are doing well, but Suzy has a long runway to walk. She is doing much better, however, My Beautifu Wife is still not back,100%. I am hoping this trip moves her forward.
My brother, you have been an awesome friend and I can't thank you enough. I am a lucky man, I have a beautiful family, of which you guys are forever a part of.
I also have 2 BGES that are screaming to be fired up. I am heading to Chicago for work, but when I return, they will get fired up and stay that way until we leave for Colorado.
It is great to be back.
    Peace.

Making some 15 bean soup. It's suppose to get down in the low 90's today, I figure that soup will be good in the cool weather.

I envy y'all in that aspect. It will be in the 70's and 80's here in January. Heck a 90 degree day ain't out of the question.

I would love to brother. Back in the 80's I spent several years on the Arctic Ocean/Beaufort Sea border. Royal Dutch Shell built an island for drilling gas there. I was there for about 2 years. I absolutely loved the cold weather.
The manmade island that i was on is on the Discovery channel from time to time. However it is now controlled by BP instead of Shell and is now called North Star island.

I am a living testament to that fact. As I am either naked, or at a minimum very near to naked most of the time. And I still burn up.
