My buddy called me up and he said that he wanted to finish the aluminum fabrication on my steam punk bike project that's been sitting in his shop languishing for about a year...he was sick of looking at it. So I went over there and met him and we discussed what could be done in 2 days. Anyway I'm going to get it back in a few days, move it over to the warehouse and get back to work on it

@nolaegghead Great project. I like the suspended springer seat with the pivot in front of the tank - very cool design.

$165 for a 15 year old grill with heavy mileage - that's halfway to a cajun fryer. Getting a fryer is the responsible thing to do, otherwise all my propane tanks might rust shut.Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

Na. That included new stainless grates, a full tank of propane, and I delivered it.Phoenix -

Thanks - I thought of that myself. Not to say it's never been done before but I haven't seen it. There's a lot of work to go before I disassemble and start painting.

My buddy did the metal fabrication on the two bikes they made (one a backup) for some series I've yet to see called "into the badlands".
He started on my bike, then did the work on the set bikes and now back on mine. I don't have the budget these guys have. Actually my budget is about 4K all said and done. And that's with me doing a lot of the work.

I've debated an AR too. That slide rack looks snazzy. I cook many things at once, so it could make my life easier.
I also need a indirect means for my medium too. I've been using fire bricks and the stone from the Joe Jr. I call it my white trash set up, but it works.------------------------------
