@sgh - what are you shooting the 7.62 stuff through? AR10?
Yes sir. I built a "Zombie" gun for my wife on the AR-10 platform. She doesn't care for it so it has kind of became mine.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Sweet.  I have stuck with the AR15 because of the relative affordability of the ammo, but I admit to some jealousy every time I see (or hear!) an AR10 at the range.

I have been preparing for winter myself. The current forecast is predicting a brutal winter this year. We could see temps as low as 70, maybe even 60 degrees in January if the model is correct.

Truck showed up for my eggs.  If they have room then we will take some household stuff too.

@Ozzie_Isaac  All best of luck with the move.  And a preliminary welcome back to AZ to you and your family.   Don't forget your Anti Monkey Butt - we're hitting 113 today again.

    The heat is terrible.  Everywhere.

Beautiful, 5-hour motorcycle ride this morning.  I'm still finding stunning roads and scenery within the state that I hadn't been on before.  Got pretty hot by the time I got home, though; a cold beer or three will be a good.  Temp was great when I was above 8,000 feet.
@Botch I haven't been riding as much as I want to.  Me and a buddy pulled off the top end of the TT-R125 I just bought.  Took out the piston, inspected, bla bla bla.  Looks like the smoke/compression problem is from the head gasket.  Ordered.

I did pick up some leathers and Pelican cases for the GS today.  Dying to go out and RIDE.  (hot as fvck though, no altitude for respite).

3 pound prime rib, three of us, zero leftovers.  *burp*.   Then 3 more hours discussing American politics with my buddy from Denmark.   Good day, good night all around.

On my very wooded property - always. I volunteer for an event that raises money for the Chester county food bank.  Our property is on the tour of a good sized event next weekend, so we try and make it look nice. We are expecting about 250 people ( half of the 500 anticipated attendees ) over the course of 2 days to arrive here at some point. But I digress.....  Friday morning, a sizable branch fell onto the driveway which needed to be cut up.  So I did it yesterday.  No time like the present.

The mailwoman drove down our driveway, and stopped right by me. Never saw her before (usually it is a guy "Jim"). She just looked at me and said "you're crazy", handed me a package and then backed away.  I stood there a second and then nodded my head in agreement and said "yea I guess so" to myself. Yea it was a bit warm even in the shade.

House is in turmoil and needed some peace and quiet.  So I went to McDonald's to see a man about a horse.

I may or may not  have a problem. SWMBO believes I have a meat problem and in my defense I said "it's only 24 pounds of chicken". I guess that is what happens when chicken is 89¢ lb and you own a food saver

Just threw these in the EGG.  Haven't grilled in 3  weeks.  Friends coming over requested. Apple & pecan for smoke.  Baked beans, corn on the cob & salad as well this evening.  Love grilling when it's 96 in the shade.

Dang @Ozzie_Isaac looks like plenty of room for more.  May need to make a pit-stop.  BTW- is this another van or just the pace of operations with carry-over  ;)
