Right. The knives before my Shun did the same. When I got my Shun, it was the difference between night and day. That thing was insanely sharp as opposed to a Hinkels knife I replaced it with. We shall see! If it's a POS I will cut some folks that recommended it.DoubleEgger said:

How do you like it? I have a Shun Santoku that I like. Thinking of getting that of all things and appears to be one of the better values. Plus, I don't believe it's a bad thing to have more good knives around.DoubleEgger said:I have that knife @tarheelmatt
That carving cutting board is nice, but not my style. I'm a hillbilly. But it's handmade apparently and sells for around $130 give or take.

I've got it as well - it isn't my favorite knife in the house because of the handle (it's a little small for my hand if I'm going to be doing a bunch of chopping or prepping), but my wife loves it and it does hold an edge well.tarheelmatt said:

I asked HR where is the hookers and blow package, but haven't received that reply yet. Guess I'll have to just trade out the knife to some crack hoe instead.johnmitchell said:@tarheelmatt.. I say screw the knife and go for hookers and crack !!!

Finally have my laptop working again. I just finished replacing the screen. I've been having to use an old gen1 iPad and my iPhone to access the internet. Pretty frustrating.
