F'n dishwasher won't drain.  Gonna have to scoop the remaining water out, pull it out from under the cable and take a look at it.  Yeah, weekend!

Does your dishwasher not have a filter on the inside on the bottom it sounds like you just need to scoop water out and remove the metal filter clean and then do an empty hot run

Our car salesman recommend we go try out Portillo's for lunch while we were still in Illinois. He said we had to go try the chocolate cake. So we grabbed a hot dog, roast beef sandwich, and their famous chocolate cake. Our salesman wouldn't tell us what the secret ingredient was until we got back to the dealership and tried the cake. (I have to admit the chocolate cake was super good) He goes, "you still want to know what that secret ingredient is? - It's mayonnaise" Crazy. I'm far from a baker but never heard of such a thing. Mayonnaise and cake. I like it. (Not my picture but found a picture of their chocolate cake) Going to have to find a recipe that's based around their chocolate cake

I love Portillo's but never tried their cake; need another trip to Chi-town.

One of the recipes I made sure to get from my Mom when I left home was her "Sour Cream Chocolate Cake", it may be similar:
Cook until thick, then cool:  2 squares baking chocolate in 1/2 cup milk.
    Mix in bowl:
    3 eggs
    1.5 cup sugar
    1 cup sour cream
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp red food coloring
    Add to mix:
    2 cups flour
    1 tsp soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    Add chocolate/milk mixture last
    Bake in 9x13 pan 350F 35 minutes, test w/toothpick

(you're/we're on our own for frosting, I don't have that).

Getting ready to fire the redheaded step child up for the first time here at the in laws.  Got a couple ribeyes, chicken breast, hamburgers,  and hot dogs.

Have a butt going on tonight for tomorrow's Easter dinner.

@tarheelmatt - matters not the equipment, you are playing with fire, cooking a banquet or two and having fun...can't beat that.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Fire is key.  Enjoy whooping your step child.

Waiting on my two-piece brisket.  Amputated flat put on 6.5 hours after the main part, now trailing by about 15 degrees.

Lookng forward to your results!  May have found a good way to deal with less than ideal briskets.

Where does the water/antifreeze go in an air-cooled engine?  Or did Porsche wimp out like BMW and go water-cooled?

We have cat prints all over our cars as well. I would be more upset about them on my Cayman vs. my accord.

They wimped out.  From a mechanical engineering standpoint, constant engine temp = lower top end wear.

I've been reduced to watching the kids play around the house. I had the bad luck of thinking I was younger that I actually am and played at the trampoline jumpy place when we took my daughter and some of her friends there for her birthday. One jump and twist too many; landed oddly and cracked my back, causing a compression fracture in the first lumbar vertebrae. Yes, the Orthopaedic guy broke his back. F-ing genius I am!!!!
