My friend's wife's birthday. He hired a limo and a bunch of us went to 10 Arts Bistro at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia. Had a blast. Just got dropped off at home. Good move!
Having a driver is always the way to go if possible, even if you are planning on only having one drink. Plans can change, and so can many lives in the blink of an eye. And it is so sad for everyone when it does, and for what? A drink? It just is not worth it.

Due to weather, I'm cooking indoors today. Thought I would whip up what we call "Ugly Biscuits" down here in Dixie. They are biscuits stuffed with fried crawfish tails, then smothered with sawmill gravy and a crawfish bisque. Pretty darn good actually. Especially to be cooked indoors.

Wings and a mostly frozen boudin link are on. Rub is a homebrew rub I keep in the cabinet. I keep adding to it and tasting/smelling as I go. Going to serve the wings with dipping sauces and slice the boudin for tasting. Lots of empty space on there, big guy says he wants a burger, I'll toss one on in a bit.
