It's been a while since I've done my favorite cook...beef ribs. So we stopped by our local butcher yesterday and got a few. Cooked at 250/280 for six hours with the pineapple infused baked beans below. The bean recipe is from BB last year thanks to @CTMike .

From SWMBO:I saw a FB video for this dolma/ cabbage roll/lumpia roller and just like with the sushi bazooka I checked on eBay and found it for much less. $14.95 + $3.99 shipping; I got it for $5.68 with free shipping. Yay!______________________________________________I love lamp..

I'm really enjoying the Cooking section of the NYTimes lately... this was really, really easy to to make. No searing.... no wok, no exotic ingredients other than fish sauce. Tasted like a really great Chinese take-out dish, which is a good thing. Essentially you melt sugar in a dry pot until it cameralizes, then dump in your thinly sliced pork-shoulder and reduce it down until it's a nice dark glaze.
