    @Dyal_SC what color is that?
    I just hire a painter, I suck at it and can afford it so get a nice result and stay out of it.
    I think it was “Twilight Blue”.... if I’m not mistaken. We are doing a moon and stars theme, and it’s what Mrs. Dyal picked out.

    I do know that is someone on the forum (possibly another member’s alias?), but been too preoccupied to figure out what the joke is about.  Lol  Our Wes will be Weston Liam Dyal. Family names for both kiddos.

    @SonVolt it’s the season for home and garden shows around here. If any are nearby, check those out. Look for landscape architects, and especially masons (look up and call them if needed). Masons most of the time work with the types of companies you are looking to get in touch with. If at the show, look at companies with displays in a style you like. If the display is bigger, this typically means they have a staff/crew to support them year round (at least here in PA.). Look at their portfolio and they will be showing off their best jobs in it. Ask for names of those you like the best that are at least 3 years old then go in person to the residence and inquire about the things important to you and look at the details.  Any very good contractor should have several customers from years ago that they have a relationship with and can provide.  Then speak frankly with the homeowner. Were there problems? How were they handled? On time? On budget? Any surprise costs? Callbacks? Response times? Follow ups? Subcontractor delays? Do/did they sub anything out etc..

    Sounds like Ike you have an exciting adventure ahead of you!

    @kl8ton. Good luck and safe travels. I don't mind traveling and seeing the roads/sites. I personally would find it hard not knowing I have a nest to come back home to. Not criticizing at all, just commenting and half inspired,  half bewildered
