Started off the day w a 57 minute swim (1.75-2 mi) in the Gulf of Mexico.

The shrinkage is real, my friends.

I think my core buy temp is still in the eighties.

There's a blast from the past. I quite liked Little Chef, but their system was fundamentally flawed. They were a glorified transport cafe, but were so slooooooow serving. Just what you (don't) want when you are on the road.

Fun fact. Lots of Little Chef premises by the road side are now 'adult' shops selling sex toys.

Went to look and was prepared to buy a snowplow for the truck, but did not pull the trigger. They were about 100% more than I expected. I will tell my wife the cost when she gets home.  I know there is no way she will approve. But she does not clear the snow. She does not pick up a shovel to do the walkway to the front door, yet alone touch the 400 ft long driveway or the one to the back of the house which is another 120 feet.

Rest assured, I have a solid plan. I am not going to plow on my garden tractor as I used to the first good snowfall. I can just drive through it with the truck. I will tell her to go clear the driveway if she wants to go out.

Then she will approve!  Ha! I know this is a good plan!

I have treated my share of hangovers at both Little Chef and Waffle House.  There is no reason for grease and carbs to be slow.

I have a couple other options for you if that one doesn’t work out so well. Show her a new 1000 Polaris Side by side or 1000 Can Am with a plw and tell her you can go riding so dual purpose.

Now if she drives directly to the dealership and buys a new truck for herself you both Win. You don’t plow and she isn’t stuck
