Best artisan bread attempt I’ve had. Not sure what was different, but this one was very good.

Kid made her breakfast for the week. Puff pasty, ham, muenster, and a spice blend of garlic and onion powder, dried thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

She’ll reheat for 5-6 min in the oven, and says it is the breakfast that does the best job of keeping her full until lunch.LBGE

Turned out purty good. Needed a lil more salt in the bag, but still tasty.johnnyp said:Working on an eggfest recipe. Results to follow this weekend.
72 hour SV chuck roast to make fast work of poor mans burnt ends.
SV in advance reduced time on the egg to about 2.5 hours. I might be able to get it down to 2 if I play with temps more.

Same here, and this locale is bringing back some memories. West Tejas isn't much different from most of NM, where I was stationed for 5 years. AND I played in several country bands, in many of the same-looking bars on this episode.DMW said:Watching "Parts Unknown"

That's very cool. I raced back in the 90's. Never got out west though. I wasn't that fast, but could hold my own with most of the kids. Did a lot of road riding. The mountain bike trails in western NC are awesome, esp around Fontana Lake ( Tsali).Ozzie_Isaac said:

I watched The Goonies last night with my kid. Brolin was the older brother of Sean Austin. Not sure how I never picked up on that before.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave -

This was probably the most technical run I have done to date over the last 10 years jet boating. We had a blast, but it was a mess coming back down, there were a few boats that seamed to be stuck every 10 minutes. 2 boats sustained some major damage. No one was hurt, and their boats can be repaired. My wife was a trooper to come along on this trip, but she has said she is done boating for awhile after a few sketchy moments. 6 boats went in total with our group.
