especially if KY plays.  Although GA did give them some trouble last night.

I don't believe KY would so "almighty" if they were in a different conference.

Like that would matter.   You could split that team in two and with a couple years of coaching, have two NBA teams.  Unless all the pundits are high, that team will draft a record number into the NBA.  If they were in another conference, would it make one iota of difference?  No. Zero. That's delusional thinking, and I never say that.

Agree. That team is ridic. They have 10 starters. They can just ride the 5 hottest hands. Not to mention several really good 7 footers.

It's absolutely ridiculous the amount of talent that Calipari can get to Kentucky, but the guy has put people in the league everywhere he's been. Don't care for the guy, really think he is cheating the system somehow. But dear lord he can get talent to play for him.

You got that right. I guess his history speaks for itself. I don't care for him either but he sure does something right. The amazing thing about this team is they actually play defense. A lot of hot shots only care about offense. Not these guys.

Not sure I quite get what you're saying, and don't believe it is delusional at all. 

Can have all the talent in the world, but heat of a battle still can get to a young team down the stretch. 

My philosophy stands. I honestly feel that KY wouldn't be undefeated if they were in a more power conference. 

I am not taking away from their talent and how good they are. They are good and will produce lottery picks and other first rounders.

Matt, if you had said they may not be undefeated if they were in another conf, I would have agreed with you.  But you said "almighty", and I don't agree if you're inferring they would not be dominant in another conference.  Sorry if delusional was too strong a term, but this late in the season, I don't think that rhetoric was off the mark.

I believe my rational stems from the mess I watch and listen to (ESPN,Newspapers, etc). I suppose I jumped to conclusions about the comment made.  

I am not like some who hate coach  Cal, I think he's a great recruiter  (that's obvious ) and a good coach too. We shall see soon what they're really made of. 

Their team reminds me of some teams from UNC where they were stacked,  but always seemed difficult to get them all to work cohesively. He appears to have worked some of that out though.
