Our lake is starting to freeze up .One cove already frozen over . Earliest I have ever seen . Probably just a freak thing ,Monday is going to be about 60 . Earliest I have been out there solid water fishing was 2nd week in December.

Great Black Friday. Just got home from Billings, MT a few hours ago. Nice breeze and 60°. Most of the snow is gone and I opened the front and back door to enjoy a great day.stemc33 said:This might be one of those threads that never dies like "what are you drinking now".

After leaving Cabela's we went to Scheels. What an awesome store. They just opened their new store this year. It's about six times the size of its previous location and is 220,000 sq. ft. Makes the Billings Cabela's look tiny. It also has a 65ft Ferris wheel in the middle of the store. But the best thing about the store is that it carries the BGE and accessories.

Several areas of the U.S. are experiencing severe weather systems, so I thought this would be a good time to bump this thread. Hope all is good with our fellow EggHeads.
We've only had a few super cold days here in WY. Today was over 60°. Looks like it's gonna be a short ice fishing season if it doesn't change. It's suppose to be nice again tomorrow.Steven

Perfect storm so far in NE Wyoming. We're on a Winter Storm Watch. Snow/rain all day yesterday so it looks good so far. It's a perfect storm because we are getting lots of needed moisture and the snows not sticking, but the mountains are getting hammered with snow. We(and neighboring states) need as much snow pack as possible before summer.Steven

Well, I married me a wife, she's been trouble all my life,
Run me out in the cold rain and snow -
highs in low 90's, rain every night. We will have mushrooms growing this continues. But getting to only mid 80's mid week and lower humidity, which will make it more bearable. We are actually cooler than Portland, OR. I think we broke the sky.
