:D still better than a few years ago during the bathroom project, steam turning to snow over your head while showering is a sight

  • Read yesterday that Buffalo lake effect was at FIVE FEET and supposed to go to EIGHT!!! In one three day storm!! Their normal annual snowfall is eight feet!

Here, it's sunny and about 45°.
I have three guys in Lockport NY. They are supposed to fly to Midway tomorrow. Not looking good for flights. Airport is all clear but staff can't get there. Supposed to warm up Saturday.

LOL!  Don't eat any of those three things.  Skyline 3-way every now and again, but never the other two.  I'm more of a Krystal's guy myself.
One of my son's lives a block away from the Red's and Indians spring training facilities in Goodyear. They recently got a BBQ restaurant named Rudy's (from Texas?).  Went there for the 1st time last week.  To get this back on to an Egg kinda topic, after having Rudy's brisket WHY should I spend 12-15 hours making my own in my egg???  ...other than the fact that that's the nearest Rudy's to San Diego and it's 330 miles away.

It was beautiful out today. Sunny and low 30s. I had to visit the ski resort I patrol at to finish up some paperwork. They have already started blowing snow and hope to be open next weekend.

Beautiful sunny day in NE Wyoming. Low 40's no wind. Gave me a chance to clean up a few drifts on the property until my winch cable broke on the 4-wheeler. Hopefully the EggHeads in NY are all okay.

Finally starting to warm up in Cincinnati. Had 4 inches of snow Monday but it did not stick to the roads much, thankfully. Today will get up to 32, which is a heat wave compared to earlier in the week. Weekend forecast: Saturday high of about 50, so i will be able to Egg!

    Medium BGE in Cincinnati OH.

IMHO no, Cincinnati breweries are taking off...favorites are Rivertown, Moerlien and Country Boy(OK that one is in Lexington, but hell it is only 2 hours away!)

I am between Rochester and Buffalo.  Ended up with about twenty inches.  15 miles west of us had 5'.  Just depends on the winds.  Going to be 45 tomorrow, 50 on Sunday and 60+ on Monday.  Now comes the flooding for Buffalo.

Keep an eye out for the opening of Taft's Ale House.  A good friend of mine is going to be brewing there and they are going to be killing it.  They'll be located in an old church in OTR.  He brews for Rivertown right now and is responsible for the Hulk Smash beer that was released a couple of months back.

Oh gawd... not another "mine is better/bigger/faster than yours" argument on a blog.

Let's see if we can agree that San Diego craft breweries are like Starbucks.  Whether you like them or hate them they forced others to up their game.  ...and that benefited everyone.

I hear ya.  I've lived here a long time so I'm used to it.  But in retrospect there is no way I could afford to buy my own house today let alone what it was appraised at before the crash.  A friend recently came back from a visit to relatives in Ohio, and said that he was blown away.  Houses that would cost 900K to a Mil five (depending on how close to the coast) in San Diego were 300k there!
SD gas prices are routinely some of the highest in the nation... and don't get me started on our state fiscal/political situation...  We call it all our "sunshine" tax.
    BECAUSE
Conde Nast Traveler did a survey a while back and concluded that the city of San Diego has the 2nd best year round weather of any city on the planet.
