Easy dinner tonight

Brined a bone-in turkey breast on Monday, then pulled it out on and let it sit on a rack for 24 hours. Today, I rubbed it with butter, then rubbed it with Mickey's Coffee Rub. Roasted at 400 with cherry wood.
Served w/ Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans.
Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

Looks great @cazzy! Do you have a special camera lens that adds moisture?I have one in the freezer that I need to do like this. I usually just "spatch" the breast and season with coffee rub. Your's looks so much better than mine.:PL x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

@cazzy- Agreed. Brining is the ticket with most all poultry. And even the lean pork cuts as well. Great looking bird for sure.

That looks crazy good! Seriously, the bird, but also the whole meal combo. Nice! I am always impressed with anyone who brines...I have neither the foresight nor the patience to do so (with the exception of the somewhat yearly "Alton Brown" Thanksgiving turkey.) Awesome cook. That looks incredible. I've been brining a lot more and the coffee rub has been my go to of late. FWIW I make a lot of brine and put any extra in a apple juice container. Whenever I want it its there. Just make sure to remove labels and mark so that someone doesn't get a surprise.XL BGE, LG BGE, and a hunger to grill everything in sight!!!Joe- Strongsville, OH
