Diehard Chokeland A's fan here.  What a friggin melt-down.  And then the Royals get 7 SB's in the wild-card game (BTW-only 6 since in 7 more games).  But credit the Royals; the bull-pen for the A's had a catastrophic melt-down twice.  Looking for a great series and would like 7 games just to shorten the drought til Feb.  YMMV-

Sorry @bud812, it is your thread but I'd like to see the Royals win this thing, the Giants have had a few recently (well within the last 30 years or so) - Seeing as the A's were once a KC franchise, If I squint real hard and have another drink it is kinda like my A's are still playing...

There's a whole lot of series and game left, but this goes to show that you Royals fans shouldn't discount World Series experience.

The Giants can compete with yall and this will be a competitive series. Good luck!

Rangers fan and when they're done (and they were done about four months ago), I usually stop paying attention.  It's football season after all.  However I do find myself really pulling for the KC in this one......something about a small market team winning it all, especially in MLB where the system is rigged against them, appeals to me.

6 on the Royals roster played in Burlington, IA.  I've seen several of the 14 on the Cardinals roster here in the QC "Busch League'n".  

( Adams, Wong, etc )
