OT - Oven Cook Tonight
They are calling for some gusty storms to start to roll through this afternoon... Rather than brave the weather; I've decided to try to do the entire dinner on / in the stove.
Attempting to make some baked pork chops with potatoes n onions along with some sort of green been dish for a side...

What are your plans for baking the pork chop? Homemade "Shake'n'Bake"?
or maybe something akin to "Yogurt baked chicken"? OR
Guy Fieri on Triple D liked these "Lemonade Pork chops" from the Gold & Silver Inn in Reno.
I tried them, not bad, but I think they worked harder making a better gravy for the show than what they served me, or maybe I was put off by the strong smell of stale cigarette smoke the joint had and that influenced my taste experience.

If you haven't decided on your green bean dish, this is quite good. Done it a couple of times in the oven. Probably require a trip to the store for fennel and shallots though.

I love Shake-n-Bake! It brings back happy memories. And I helped!Flint, Michigan

The pork chops were dusted with some flour and seasoned with a few spices; then seared and placed on the bed of potatoes and onions. The sauce is cream of mushroom soup, some mustard, and some more spices...
Green beans are sautéed with butter, bacon, and sliced almonds.
Ladies loved it... In fact my wife said it was almost as good as... Well I'll let you figure it out

@hapster we're suffering through the same rain so it's roasted chicken in the oven cooked over potatoes and carrots. It's a Barefoot Contessa recipe which is the best not-cooked-in-the-Egg chicken I've ever had, but it's just not the same as cooking in the Egg.Two Large Eggs; Too Little TimeNewtown Square, PA

No stainless vent for me today and no way to cover daisy wheel and too lazy to improvise has left destroyed a good amount of my chunk.Chicken's good though!

@hapster It all looks great but that picture of the bacon and butter is work of art. The Bacon Institute [there has to be one] should use that picture for its logo. Two Large Eggs; Too Little TimeNewtown Square, PA

That's one fine @$$ looking meal regardless of what you cooked it in. Bravo! I'd definitely hit that B-)LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I have what I feel is a killer recipe for MSG free condensed Cream'o'mushroom soup. My recipe makes a little bit more than the equivalent to four 10 3/4 oz cans of condensed soup. I make it, then freeze it in ziploc bags for use in recipes that call for a can o'soup.
